become a member of Slow Food Utah
Become a member of Slow Food USA and select Slow Food Utah as your local Convivia. (Convivia is singular, Convivium is plural, both are used to denote a "Chapter".) Your local Slow Food group is the first point of contact – joining you to a larger international movement of people dedicated to protecting taste, culture and the environment as universal social values. As a member of Slow Food USA, you will have opportunities to participate in all our programs and attend all local, national and international events.

Slow Food maintains all people’s right to taste – and gains its momentum through its members’ hands-on dedication to change. We currently have over 80,000 members, in over 100 countries, spreading the word and changing the world! Your participation and your voice make our message stronger.
Ways to Join Slow Food Utah
- Join the Slow Food Utah Website on the Trunity network of websites.
To be clear, this is not the same as becoming a dues paying member of Slow Food.
Joining the Slow Food Utah Website is free of charge and shows your support of the Website.
Joining the Website is the first step to contributing content.
When you "join" the Slow Food Utah Website you will need to create a user account on the Trunity network of websites. There is no charge required for this.
You will also be able to create your own community or personal websites.

All formal Slow Food membership in the United States
is handled nationally by Slow Food USA.

When you become a member of Slow Food USA, your support helps us move towards a more delicious and sustainable future. Your membership dues support and further the growth of national and international programs. Your membership benefits also include:
- A one-year subscription to The Snail journal, which covers good, clean and fair food issues such as: sustainable seafood, food systems education, alternative food distribution, protecting biodiversity and regional food traditions.
- The Slow Food Almanac* from Slow Food International that features in-depth stories of the movement from around the world.
- The Food Chain, our monthly e-newsletter that highlights the activities of our 200+ convivia in the Unites States, our diverse programs and the latest headlines in food sustainability.

Memberships Available:
Individual $60 – Couple/Family $75 – Student $30 Slow Food USA.
(Two-Year individual and couple/familly memberships are also available.)
- Slow Food U.S.A. is a 501(c)3 non–profit organization. Slow Food Utah is a non–profit under Slow Food U.S.A.’s charter. Your Slow Food USA membership dues are tax deductible, except for the $15 allocated for the journal, "The Snail".
