Slow Food Utah: Community, Home & School Gardening
This is a topic for information resources on the subject of community and home gardening. This topic is divided into three sections:
- Community Gardens are plots of land that are used by multiple families and may be located on publicly or privatly owned land.
- Home Gardens are plots of land used by a single family or group for their own use.
- School Gardens are plots of land used at schools to facilitate, in part, school-yard garden programs.
The idea for this topic is to bring together and associate topically the various aspects of community, home and school gardening. Content to be included includes "how-to" information and guidance, resources for supplies, and in the case of community gardens listings to facilitate individuals finding and joining existing community gardens. It is also intended to facilitate development of new community & school gardens.
