If you would like to become more involved with Slow Food Utah, please send an e–mail to us to indicate your interest.

  • Slow Food Utah is seeking articles from a variety of sources, be it a food-centered or not food-centered publication, such as:

    1) Local daily Utah newspapers including the Deseret Morning News, Ogden Daily Examiner, Provo Daily Herald or The Salt Lake Tribune, PLUS Weekly or monthly publications such as Catalyst Magazine, Salt Lake City Weekly or any other publication local to Utah.

    2) Regional or national publications that pick up on Utah based stories germane to Slow Food.

If you see an article that is germane to Slow Food Utah/Slow Food, in any publication in print or online, please provide a link to the article, or at least the publication name, date and article title. This is a quick and easy way to participate that would benefit Slow Food Utah. The objective here is to highlight what is in both the popular press, and in food specific press. We are looking for a variety of articles and a variety of publications. Contact the Slow Food Utah Webmaster

  • Participate in the Slow Food Utah "Monthly Membership Meetings" held at 6:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of every month, and are listed in the Slow Food Utah Schedule of Events. Contact Slow Food Utah.
  • Assist with organizing and volunteering for upcoming events, such as the "Third Annual Feast of Five Senses" to be held June, 2007. Contact Slow Food Utah.
  • The Webmaster suggests a state-wide listing of local farmers, distributors and retailers akin to that produced in other regions, such as the "Rural Roots Buying Guide" in Idaho. This is just one example, there are others. So, drop the Webmaster a line if you are so inclined to consider taking on, or assisting with, such a project.
  • If you have additional ideas for Slow Food Utah projects please feel free to e–mail Slow Food Utah.
