Utah is the epicenter of great beef and lamb—most of us just don't know it. Join us and some of our local and organic ranchers who honor the state's agriculture traditions, the land, and what and how we eat.

Learn what it takes to produce succulent roasts and why their animals taste better. Ranchers reveal what they do and what they offer to conscientious consumers like us who are interested in making a difference in how we eat...plus a bonus...it tastes great.

Also get professional tips on how to use lesser-known and more affordable cuts of meat from Adam Kreisel, Executive Chef of Tipica-the new restaurant opening at Caputo's. Adam will join us for a brief demonstration and tasting of the rustic and real Italian cuisine that makes even the most humble cuts, the most noble.

You will receive information on and meet the producers from Morgan Valley Lamb, G-Bar Ranch, Taylor Made Ranch, and Lau Family Farms.

Seating is very limited. You must RSVP with contact information. (Please write your contact information into the message box after clicking "YES.")

The cost is $10 for Slow Food members and $15 for non-members. We will only be able to accept cash or checks for payment at this event.

Please be aware that this event is only a tasting and a meal will not be served.
